Sheriff WILLIAM P. MULLEN announces the arrest of William Kimble, 27, from the North Side section of the City of Pittsburgh. William Kimble had an outstanding Criminal Bench Warrant issued for charges of DUI x2, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Driving Under Suspension, and Reckless Driving. Kimble failed to appear at trial for these charges. On Wednesday, April 23, 2008 around 6pm, Detectives with the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Fugitive Squad went to 3600 block of Harbison Avenue located in the North Side section of the City of Pittsburgh to in an attempt to apprehend fugitive William Carl Kimble. Kimble’s wife, Tina, was home when Sheriff’s Deputies arrived however William Kimble was not. As Deputies searched the residence for William, Deputies discovered multiple illegal items lying in plain view, including illegal drugs and drug dealing paraphernalia. Deputies also discovered that Tina Kimble had an outstanding non-support warrant from the Allegheny County Family Division, Court of Common Pleas, for failing to appear for a hearing regarding child support.

           Approximately ten minutes after our arrival, fugitive William Kimble, pulled into the driveway of the Harbison Ave address, while Sheriff’s Deputies were still inside. Detectives immediately approached the car and apprehended fugitive William Kimble. William Kimble was found in possession of pills, suspected to be Methadone, that were not in a prescription bottle and several thousand dollars of United States Currency. Due to what Deputies found at the scene, Deputies determined that it would be necessary to obtain search warrant for the residence. Shortly thereafter, Deputies executed the search warrant and the following items were recovered: Approximately 5 ½ ounces of suspected powder cocaine, approximately 8 ½ ounces of suspected crack cocaine, several ounces of suspected marijuana, prescription medications/pills, and multiple items of drug dealing paraphernalia. Also recovered were several guns, including rifles, shotguns, and two handguns. In addition to these items, a car, two motorcycles, and a quad were also seized during the search warrant execution. Both William and Tina Kimble have been lodged in the Allegheny County Jail on bench warrants and are awaiting new charges relating to the items that were seized by Deputies. William and Tina Kimble will each be charged with the following offences: Possession With Intent to Deliver (2 counts), Possession of a Controlled Substance (4 Counts), Criminal Conspiracy, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
