COMCAST HELPS NET ANOTHER MOST WANTED FUGITIVE
Sheriff WILLIAM P. MULLEN announces the apprehension of Angelo Murphy, who resides at 364 Mount Pleasant Road Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Murphy is a fugitive who was listed on the Sheriff’s Ten Most Wanted List.
Sheriff William Mullen credits a partnership with Comcast for success in tracking down many of the County's most wanted fugitives. A viewer of the "Fugitive Files on Demand" program that features photographs and descriptions of the most wanted fugitives, telephoned a “tip” to Deputies in the fugitive investigations division.
The information led Deputies to 1611 Sandusky Court in the Fine view Section of the City of Pittsburgh, where the actor was found sitting on a chair in front of the residence. Murphy was wanted on charges of robbery, burglary and simple assault.
The Partnership between the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office and Comcast has produced several other arrests and is still provided as a service to Comcast customers.
Murphy was taken to the Allegheny County Jail where he will be held with out bond to await his hearing.
For further information please contact Sheriff Mullen at (412) 350-4711.
