Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of another of the “20 Most Wanted”. This evening Sheriff’s Deputies received information from a Comcast viewer that was still watching the “20 Most Wanted” segment On Demand. The caller gave information to deputies regarding Conchita Marie Owens, 28 years old, from the Garfield area of Pittsburgh. Owens was wanted on three criminal bench warrants since August 26, 2008. The original charges were Aggravated Assault, Escape, and Drug Violations.
The information that was provided, led deputies to an apartment building located in the 1200 block of Reddour Street in Northside. The deputies were able to set up surveillance on this apartment building and could observe Owens through a window on the second floor. These deputies then surrounded this building and apprehended Owens without incident. Also found in the apartment with Owens was Eric Hall whom identified himself as Owens’s boyfriend. Hall was checked for warrants and was also found to be a fugitive. Hall failed to appear in court on September 6, 2007. Hall was originally charged with Simple Assault stemming from an incident involving domestic violence. Both Owens and Hall will be lodged at the Allegheny County Jail where they both are being held without bail.
