Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the arrest of John A. Ross, 35 years of age from the Munhall section of Allegheny County.  Ross was wanted on a Bench Warrant that was recently issued by the Family Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.  Ross failed to appear for proceedings related to child support matters owing nearly $109,000 in back child support. 

On Friday, September 19, 2008, Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office began an investigation to locate Ross who was believed to be living in the Borough of Munhall.  On Saturday, September 20, 2008, Detectives were able to confirm the exact address and subsequently arrested Ross who was found hiding in a second floor bedroom.  He was transported to the Allegheny County Jail where he will await his hearing.
