Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Joe Cameron Davias, 44 years old, from the Brighton Heights area of Pittsburgh. Davias was wanted for Violation of Probation/Parole on Child Pornography related charges. Davias is required under Megan's Law to be registered as an offender. The Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas issued a bench warrant for Davias' arrest yesterday.

This afternoon, Davias was placed on the Sheriff's Office Most Wanted website. This website is run in conjunction with a Comcast "On-Demand" segment featuring these fugitives. After less than three hours of being placed on the website, a tipster phoed Sheriff's Deputies stating that they had just observed Davias enter his residence located in the 3600 block of California Avenue, also in Pittsburgh. Sheriff's Deputies went to this residence immediately and apprehended Davias without incident. Davias is now being held i the Allegheny County Jail without bond.
