The individuals featured on the Non-Support Most Wanted list are chosen by the following categories.

1. Excessive amount of arrearages
2. Multiple Warrants
3. Habitual Offenders

As with any Fugitive Investigation, some cases are easier to resolve then others.  Detectives have discovered that many of the Non-Support Most Wanted individuals were found to have criminal records and are actively attempting to evade capture.  A considerable amount of man hours are invested in every case, therefore, any information received from the public is welcome and can be very helpful towards locating a wanted person.

In 2007, the Sheriff's Office Cleared over 4400 Non-Support warrants and over 2300 so far in 2008 (Aug 08). (We have not kept stats on the number of most wanted apprehensions)
