PITTSBURGH, PA - Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the arrest of James Temple, 52 years of age from the northern section of Allegheny County. Temple was wanted on a bench warrant that was issued in February of 2008 by the Family Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Temple had failed to appear for a hearing related to child support matters owing over $111,000.00 in arrearages. When initial efforts to locate him had failed, Temple was subsequently placed on the Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” list landing him in the top three.
At approximately 8:30 am on Thursday, December 3, 2009, detectives from the Investigations Division of the Sheriff’s Office, concluded a lengthy investigation when they managed to locate Temple residing at a home on Crawford Run Road in West Deer Township. Temple surrendered without incident and was transported directly to the Family Courts Building to face a family court judge.
