PITTSBURGH, PA - Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Tara Cabbagestalk, 27 years old, from the Fineview area of the City of Pittsburgh.  Cabbagestalk was wanted for bond forfeiture at trial for an incident that took place in December 2008.  In this incident, Cabbagestalk assaulted a sheriff’s deputy, both physically and verbally in the Family Court Complex.  All the while, holding an infant child and disregarding the safety of that child.  Cabbagestalk was charged with Aggravated Assault, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Endangering Welfare of Children and Criminal Mischief.

Today sheriff’s deputies received information from an anonymous tipster that had seen Cabbagestalk on the Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” website.  The informant stated that they had seen a female fitting the fugitive’s description in the Allegheny Dwellings multi-leveled family community.  Soon thereafter, deputies headed to the address provided by the informant and apprehended the actor without incident.  Deputies transported Cabbagestalk to the Allegheny County Jail where she will be held without bond.
