PITTSBURGH, PA – Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Timothy Horvat, 46 years of age from the City of McKeesport.

Horvat was wanted on three counts of aggravated assault for an incident occurring on May 27, 2011.  Horvat was charged based on an altercation he had with three Pittsburgh Police Officers on this date.  After forfeiting his bond earlier this month, Horvat was placed on the Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” website and Comcast “Fugitive Files” On-Demand program due to the nature of his crime.

Yesterday afternoon, deputies received information that Horvat was staying at an address in the Bloomfield neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh.  After locating the address provided by the tipster, deputies were brought to the 5100 block Penn Avenue.  Deputies announced themselves and gained entry to a second floor apartment where they located Horvat in the kitchen.  He was apprehended without incident and lodged at the Allegheny County Jail.
