PITTSBURGH, PA - Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of the thirteen- year-old female involved in the assault on a store clerk at Monroeville Mall earlier this week. In the Juvenile Court Allegation form filed by Monroeville Police, this juvenile is charged with two counts of Robbery, Simple Assault and Retail Theft. The victim in this case was a seventeen-year-old employee of a Hollister store inside the mall. An eyewitness recorded the assault on a cell phone. This juvenile was also wanted by Juvenile Court for a probation violation.

This evening, sheriff’s deputies while working with Monroeville Police, developed information that this juvenile was seen recently in both the Hill District and Hazelwood areas of the City of Pittsburgh.
