PITTSBURGH, PA – Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Melissa Lellock, 35 years of age from the Carrick neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh.
On January 3, 2012, Lellock became involved an incident with City of Pittsburgh Police Officers where she was charged with Aggravated Assault, Promoting Prostitution – Loiter for Purpose of Prostitution, Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkeness. Due to this occurrence, Lellock failed to report to a scheduled court appearance in April 2012, in turn forfeiting her bond. A warrant was issued soon thereafter and Lellock was placed on the Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” because of the assault on a police officer.
This morning, sheriff’s deputies received information that Lellock was hiding out in house in the 600 block of Warrington Avenue in the Arlington neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh. Once deputies arrived at this address an announced themselves, a man answered the door and allowed them entry into the home. After a brief search of the residence, Lellock was found in the second floor living room. She was immediately apprehended without an incident and transported to the Allegheny County Jail. Lellock will be held without bond, as she will await a court appearance on her respective charges.
