Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Jordan Interthal, 29 years of age from the Northside neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh.

Interthal was wanted on a criminal bench warrant issued on September 18, 2015 due to bond forfeiture at a scheduled pretrial hearing.  The original charges include two counts of Aggravated Assault, three counts of Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Make Repairs/Sell/Etc Offense Weapons, Resist Arrest, Criminal Mischief, four counts of Intent Possess Controlled Substance by Person Not Registered and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On July 1, 2015, Interthal was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over by Reserve Township Police.  Upon being placed in custody, Interthal struggled with officers on numerous occasions and attempted to flee the scene.  Eventually, officers were able to obtain control of Interthal and took him into custody.  Interthal was found to be in possession of an array of illicit drugs including heroin, crack cocaine, Xanax pills and Oxycodone pills.  As mentioned, Interthal was set to appear at a pretrial hearing early last month, which he failed to do.  He was immediately placed on the Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” website and deputies have been searching for him since.

This morning, sheriff’s deputies received an anonymous tip that Interthal was at a residence in 200 block of Mt Pleasant Street in the Northview Heights neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh.  After a short period of surveillance, deputies noticed a vehicle pull into the suspected residence.  A woman exited and entered the home for a few minutes.  Soon thereafter, the woman left the residence with a male, who matched the identity of the suspect, Jordan Interthal.  The vehicle pulled out of the driveway and began travelling toward East Avenue, where deputies made a traffic stop.  Deputies identified the passenger as Interthal and took him into custody without incident.  Sheriff’s deputies transported Interthal to the Allegheny County Jail where he will be held without incident.
