Deputies Locate Drugs While Apprehending Fugitive

Deputy sheriffs developed information yesterday that led them to a residence in the 3800 block of Hilpert Street in Brentwood.  At approximately 12:45 p.m., deputies reported to the location and began conducting surveillance of the home.  Shortly thereafter, they witnessed suspected drug activity occurring at the residence, before observing Griffin momentarily appear outside of the property.  At 1:30 p.m. deputies entered the residence, where they located and arrested Griffin without incident.  He was found in possession of marijuana.

When deputies took Griffin into custody, they observed plain-view evidence of marijuana situated atop of a dresser in a bedroom, prompting them to obtain consent from the actor’s girlfriend to search the residence.  Deputies subsequently recovered 183 bags of suspected heroin, marijuana, 2 scales, drug packaging materials and a cellular telephone.

Griffin was additionally charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession, possession of small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The actor is currently incarcerated at the Allegheny County Jail.
