MAINTENANCE MAN "MOST WANTED" THIEF
NABBED IN PITTSBURGH'S WEST END

PITTSBURGH, PA - Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Todd Marciesky, 51 years-old of McKeesport.  Marciesky has been featured on the Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” list since November 20, 2015.

Marciesky was wanted on a criminal bench warrant issued in late October 2015 due to a violation of probation/parole.  Marciesky pled guilty to a burglary charge stemming from an incident in which he heisted goods valued at over $5,000 from a senior high rise in the Uptown neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh.  Marciesky, who at the time was working as a building maintenance man, stole nearly $5,800 worth of jewelry from an ailing resident, who had been admitted to the hospital earlier that month.

Over the last few days, the Sheriff’s Office received information Marciesky was working in the West End area of Pittsburgh.  Today, deputies placed him in the 3700 block of Allendale Circle, where he was working as a handyman.  As deputies approached a silver SUV, they viewed Marciesky sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.   The subject was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Allegheny County Jail, where he will remain until his parole violation hearing.
