DEPUTIES PINCH PFA VIOLATOR AND
FIND GUNS, DRUGS, AND MONEY
PITTSBURGH, PA – Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Anthony Jetter, 28 years of age from Mt. Oliver Borough. Jetter was wanted on an Indirect Criminal Contempt warrant for violating the terms of a Protection From Abuse (PFA) Order from June 2016. The violation occurred in August 2016, when the defendant contacted the victim on numerous occasions making threats.
Last evening, sheriff’s deputies developed information that Jetter was now staying at an address in the first block of Highland Avenue in McKees Rocks Borough. Based on this information, sheriff’s deputies went to the residence this morning at 9:55AM. Deputies announced themselves on numerous occasions and even were able to identify Jetter peering through a window in the front of the house. Eventually, deputies had to breach the entryway of the home and Jetter was taken into custody shortly afterward. As deputies did a safety search of the home for other occupants, they spotted suspected bundled marijuana and large amounts of US currency in plain view. Due to this finding, deputies obtained a search warrant and eventually located over a pound of suspected marijuana, a quarter ounce of suspected raw heroin, packaging known to be used in the distribution of heroin labeled as “Freddy Kruger” and “Roll Tide”, over $1600.00 in US currency, a loaded Glock 27 with extended clip and a loaded Taurus .380., which were reported stolen.
Jetter was transported to the Allegheny County Jail, where he was lodged on the ICC warrant and will await arraignment regarding today’s findings at the McKeesport residence.
