Commendations
The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office’s Awards and Commendations Program was instituted to provide official recognition to agency members who have distinguished themselves by outstanding performance or extraordinary achievement while furthering the cause of law enforcement.
Featured employees are distinguished for their actions, exceeding the call of duty, to apprehend dangerous fugitives and criminals, protect human life and property and maintain order and peace in the face of threatening events.
