Kristen Pivarnik joined the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office in 2011 as a Real Estate Counter Clerk and quickly thereafter was attained for the position of Executive Secretary in the Sheriff’s Office Administration. In March of 2014, she was entrusted and appointed to the Accounting Manager position by Sheriff Mullen. Kristen currently serves as the Accounting & Budget Manager and succeeded Marianne DiVecchio who retired in 2017 from the Sheriff’s Office after 42 years of dedicated service.
In her role, Kristen is primarily responsible for preparing payroll, personnel actions including terminations, developing and monitoring the annual budget, preparing contractual actions per Collective Bargaining Agreements, projecting and analyzing overtime, reporting account analysis, managing inventory control and supporting administrative operations of the Sheriff’s Office. Kristen also serves as the Sheriff’s Office liaison for Audits, Human Resources, FMLA and Workers’ Compensation.
Kristen previously worked at Frost National Bank in San Antonio, TX as a Market Research Analyst where she examined and analyzed potential and existing markets, developed financial goals, proposed new branch locations and presented analysis to bank executives and new branch teams throughout Texas.
An alumnus of Baldwin High School (2004), Kristen attended Pennsylvania State University, The Behrend College in Erie and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (2008).
